The Alaska State Troopers take viewers along as theypolice the four-day festival that hosts more than 12,000 partygoers. With less than one trooper for every 500 partiers, troopers patrol excessively on the first day to give the impression there are more troopers than there actually are.
The party in the beer tent Arctic Man’s focal point for excessive drinking, debauchery, fights and fake IDs. While patrolling the Artcic Man beer tent, the Alaska troopers come across a drug dealer who has been offering marijuana to an off-duty trooper. It takes a coordinated undercover effort to bring the dealer down.
Meanwhile, mainland Alaska troopers police the island of Little Diomede, located just miles from Russia. They fly in and land on the ice-covered Bering Strait, before apprehending a sex offender. And Alaska’s primary law enforcement agency is faced with an epidemic. Suicide rates are climbing in native communities, and the drama unfolds as officers arrive at the scene of a woman holding a gun to her head.
